Have you noticed that if you smile at someone, they smile right back at you? Have you also noticed how if someone smiles at you then you smile back at them, without even thinking about it? What does this tell you about smiling?
Smiling is contagious so spread it around! A smile shows you are friendly and that you’re a fun, nice person to be with and it can help you make friends.
It is perfectly okay to be in a bad mood once in a while. We all get out of bed the wrong side sometimes. But try not to be unhappy for too long.
Why don’t you try to smile? If you smile, your brain will think‘I’m happy!’ and your mood will improve.
If you can cheer yourself up, just think how good you will be at cheering other people up. What a great friend you will be!
